GVA James Barr are pleased to announce that Grundfos Pumps relocate to Alba Pavilions, Livingston. Their Scottish arm of the business has chosen Alba Business Park and have taken 1 floor in the Alba Pavilions, extending to 1,765 sq ft of office space.
Acting on behalf of Omnia Offices, the letting team signed Grundfos to a five year lease with a 3 year break option. Grundfos had previously occupied industrial/office premises on Kirkton Campus and were in the market for more appropriate office space to suit their needs.
Grundfos Pumps Ltd, who have their HQ in Bedfordshire, are a UK leader in the supply of pumps and pump systems for domestic, commercial building services and process industry applications, as well as being a major supplier to the water supply and treatment industries and a provider of packaged fire sets. They are part of the Grundfos Group that employ 19,000 people in sales and production roles in 83 companies worldwide. Founded in Denmark in 1945, the Group now has an annual turnover of £3billion and produces 16 million pumps per year.
“We are delighted to welcome Grundfos to Alba Pavilions which follows recent letting success at the Alba Centre which is now fully occupied. Recently we have noticed a big improvement in occupier demand following a difficult time for the West Lothian office market and hope that further lettings will be announced shortly.”
“We look forward to welcoming a significant player like Grundfos to The Park and to have the Alba Centre fully let is a great bonus.”
Alba Business Park is arguably Livingston’s principle business park location and offers a vibrant mix of flexible business space from serviced space for single person operations up to 28,000 sq ft HQ buildings. The park is well connected to the road network and is set within an attractive parkland setting with mature woodland and water features.
