Our Regent Centre tenants, Medway Law, have raised money for Cash for Kids!

Posted on January 11 2017

Over the 2016 Christmas period, Our Regent Centre tenants, Medway Law, have raised money for Cash for Kids. The tenants in our Granger Suite office space in the Regent Centre offices did a collection for Metro Radio’s Christmas charity Cash for Kids campaign.

About Medway Law

Medway Law are Specialist Auction Conveyancers who provide their assistance and expert knowledge to clients in the sale or purchase of a property, as well as support for re-mortgaging and legal ownership.

Lesley Johnson arranged for the organisation to be included in the scheme which meant that the office was registered as a local drop-off point in order to collect donations for the Cash for Kids appeal for underprivileged children who would not be receiving presents over Christmas. The idea is that a toy or gift is taken to one of the drop-off points which will then be wrapped and distributed to disadvantaged children in the North East, cash donations were accepted as well.

Medway Law collected 39 individual gifts in total plus a cash donation, and they are hoping to have obtained more once they do a final review of all the donations.

About Cash for Kids

Last year, Cash for Kids supported 45,128 local children and managed to collect £2,508,860 in gifts and cash combined. Metro Radio partnered with B&M in order to accomplish the appeal.
